Endodontics

Endodontic or root canal therapy may be required if the nerve of the tooth has died or been damaged due to trauma or decay. If a nerve has been injured or diseased, a patient may suffer sensitivity, pain or an abscess on the tooth. An Endodontist will clean the infected pulp from inside the tooth root, and seal the root to prevent further infection.  This is an extremely successful treatment to save a damaged tooth and prevent extraction.
