2. Brush your teeth regularly
Because food residue can accumulate between the cavities of the teeth and gums, it is recommended that you brush your teeth before and after each meal. And because these remnants may contain bacteria, the toothbrush used should have strong bristles. It is best to change your brush three to four months for a thorough clean.
3. Clean with Fluoride toothpaste
When looking for toothpaste to buy, you will come across those that claim to whiten and freshen the teeth. However, these may not guarantee healthy teeth. Toothpaste containing fluoride and bearing the ADA seal of approval are ideal for healthy gum.
4. Therapeutic mouthwash
While not a replacement for brushing, therapeutic mouthwash is an excellent ingredient for preventing gum disorders such as plaque.
5. Floss regularly
The toothbrush does not reach all areas of the teeth, and even if it could, there is debris which it could not clean. Habitual flossing is an incredible oral regime, ensuring the leftovers of meals are wiped off, keeping the gum clean and eventually healthy.
